Are we the best who we can be? Probably not. Have you enrolled in a seminar lately? Sometimes it is so easy to sit back and coast and let life happen and settle for the average. I know I find myself coasting at times but then I realize life is too short to just coast. I have always been one to read books that inspire and motivate me from some great authors like Zig Ziglar, Brendan Buchard, Steph Covey and list can go on. I recently reread Stephan Covey's book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. One of the principles he addresses is personal management, put first things first. How we organize ourselves differs from person to person or generation to generation, whether we use notes, checklists, calendars, making a plan, daily or monthly, but one thing stands out is time management. It's not how we manage time but how we manage ourselves. Are we dealing with things in the proper order or urgency? You heard the saying "don't sweat the small stuff" right? Sometimes we need to look at life and prioritize what is important and what is not important. Is this something we need to deal with immediately or can we put it off and deal with it later? Life happens too quickly to constantly run in a circle, so sit back and look at what you need to do first. And Bill Harvey says, “you can too, I’ll show you how.” With Fast Proven Results.
